Rare Sight: Endangered Sea Turtle Lays Eggs on Sasihitlu Beach
Mangalore : Sea turtles have arrived at the Sasihitlu beach. The extremely rare Olive Ridley sea turtle has arrived at the Mangalore beach. They have laid eggs in the sea. Sea turtles have arrived at the Sasihitlu beach on the outskirts of Mangalore. They have laid eggs on the Sasihitlu beach. The sight of the sea turtle coming to the beach and laying eggs was captured on camera. Local fishermen are keeping a special watch on the conservation of the eggs. Turtle eggs were previously found in about 12 places around Mangalore. Sea turtles used to come to the cold well, Sasihitlu, and Bengre areas of the Mangalore beach in the past. Sea turtles are protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife Protection Act. These are rare sea turtles that return to their birthplace and lay eggs.
