Massive Blood Donation Camp to be Held in Mulki on March 2

Mulki: A massive blood donation camp will be held on Sunday, March 2, at 9:30 am at Devadiga Sangha near Bappanadu, under the leadership of D.K. District Padmashali Mahasabha (R.) Mangalore and in collaboration with the Zone Vedike of 16 temples, at Devadiga Sangha near Bappanadu. A warm invitation to all the office bearers and members of D.K. District Padmashali Mahasabha and Vidhyavardaka Sangha, 16 temples and all the temple zone vedikes. 
Every healthy person between the ages of 18 and 65, with a body weight of at least 45 kg can donate 350ml of blood. Those who weight more than 55 kg can donate 450 ml of blood. The same amount of new blood is produced in the body of the person who donates blood within 48 hours. This can lead to good health. It also increases memory, reduces the risk of heart attack, helps in preventing blood pressure and diabetes. Thus, any healthy person can donate blood once in three months.
